Booking Tips and FAQs: Look for days with light wind and incoming tides for easier fishing conditions. Keep in mind that full moons can lead to very low tides, and during the summer, many afternoon trips may get canceled due to thunderstorms.
How many people can I bring? The maximum passenger count is the total number of people allowed on your fishing charter in Bonita Springs. For example, if the maximum is 6, that includes everyone regardless of age, including small children.
We have 2 boats in Bonita Springs, each accommodating 6 passengers. You can book both boats for a total of 12 passengers.
Cancellation Policy: If the captain cancels your trip due to inclement weather, your deposit will be refunded.
What fish might we catch? Check our Instagram or Facebook for our most recent catches. In the rich waters of Southwest Florida, you may encounter Whiting, Spanish Mackerel, Spotted Sea Trout, Snook, Mangrove Snapper, Redfish, Sheepshead, Jack Crevalle, Bluefish, Black Drum, and others. While our crew will do their best to ensure a great time, keepers are not guaranteed.
Where do we fish? We fish in and around Bonita Springs, Fort Myers Beach, North Naples, Estero Bay, rivers, creeks, grass flats, mangrove islands, docks, passes, and bridges. On calm days, we can venture about 3 miles into the Gulf for an additional $50 fee, which should be requested when booking.
Will other people be with us? All of our charters are private, meaning only your group will be aboard; we do not offer public or split charters.
What should I bring? Don’t forget polarized sunglasses to see beneath the water's surface, a hat, sunscreen, and a jacket for cooler days. Light-colored shirts are ideal for warmth, while dark shirts can make you feel hotter.
Gratuity: A typical tip is around 20% if you feel the captain and mate exceeded your expectations.
Restroom Facilities: Leaving from Bonita Springs, there is a small liquid-only restroom onboard, and restrooms are also available at the marina. Leaving from Fort Myers, there are no restroom facilities onboard or at the departure location.
Sunscreen: Please avoid using spray sunscreen, as it can make the deck slippery and stain surfaces on the boats, plus it’s difficult to apply when the winds are blowing.
Do I need to bring a cooler? No, we provide a cooler with ice for your drinks and snacks, but please ensure no trash goes in the water. Avoid using plastic bags, as they tend to blow off the boat into the water. We do not supply drinks, water, or food, but we recommend at least 2 bottles of water per person.
During the summer, consider bringing small towels to wet and apply on the back of your neck to stay cool.
What if I accidentally drop a fishing rod overboard? You will be financially responsible for the loss of the equipment, with a replacement cost of $160.00, so always handle the equipment carefully.
Payment: We accept cash or credit cards, with a 2.5% convenience fee for credit card transactions. Please bring cash or your credit card on the boat.
For the health and safety of our guests, captains, and crew, smoking and vaping are not permitted onboard. Thank you for your understanding.
Please note: You may have a different captain than the one listed on your booking confirmation. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.
